Poem 🗒
What have you done?
It comes calling again
You rush for it
Like you've been waiting a whole lifetime
I watch with amusement
Suddenly you disappear
My amusement turns age-stricken anxiety
But I cant come to find you
At the first step
My courage gives way
To the fastly approaching waves
Sweat drops of despair
But I'm all frozen inside
Taking a long breath
I dive in to find you.
My wobble feet fight against the currents
I come back up to the surface
Only to see you
Mocking my anger.
It comes calling again
You rush for it
Like you've been waiting a whole lifetime
I watch with amusement
Suddenly you disappear
My amusement turns age-stricken anxiety
But I cant come to find you
At the first step
My courage gives way
To the fastly approaching waves
Sweat drops of despair
But I'm all frozen inside
Taking a long breath
I dive in to find you.
My wobble feet fight against the currents
I come back up to the surface
Only to see you
Mocking my anger.
