The Recovery Process
Sometimes we're hurt. The people we love so much hurt us.
The people we trust so much hurt us. Why is it the people we love so much?
Why is it the people that we trust so much?
Thats because they're the people we love and trust so much. They hurt us when
They break our trust and throw our love right back into
Our face. Its inevitable. A heart cant get stronger if its not strained
Made to go through some pressure. The strain and pressure comes from hurt. Hurt from
Beloved ones. They have to be your beloved. Someone you don't love cant hurt you
Maybe an attack on your life or property. But your loved ones hurt you.
Sometimes you hurt more when backstabbed than when you
Lose your car. A man who lost his car to thieves might
Not hurt as much as a man who finds out that his wife has been
Cheating on him half the number of years they've been married. What ears
Can hear that? What eyes can behold it? What heart can bear it?
There are occasions that they have hurt you without meaning it.
Hows that again? Imagine loving someone, dedicating a lot to make a relationship work
But the other party aint responding accordingly (positively).
A friend once said, it hurts to know that someone you can walk miles for can't go a step for you.
Like earlier stated, it really is inevitable to be hurt. That perfect relationship is yet to exist, that
Perfect friend, perfect husband, perfect mom, perfect dad
Perfect coursemate, perfect room mate, perfect bestfriend, perfect
Brother or sister in that church, perfect sibling. And I'm telling you,
Not even the perfect twin. Don't dwell too much on the hurt.
Its too depressing. It has more weight than you know.
Starting from that sweet smile 🙂 that it forces to leave your face.
Think of the many beautiful people you will prevent yourself from meeting.
Think of the good that has once and will still come forth from that person.
Think of good opportunities that you can only be awarded once in a lifetime.
Don't start your day with the broken pieces of yesterday. Every morning we wake up is the first day of the Rest of our life.
