For a reason

For a reason

Finding hopelessly a long lost affection
She sought every book looked over every reaction
I watched with amusement her passion
But remaimed still in my position
For a reason

Moments to hours and days
I saw her enthusiasm wane
Lifting my head to smile in pain
Little glint of hope I raise
She picks her faith and braves her fate
For a reason

Bringing pieces of the puzzle
Awaiting greetings of the answers
To be bade goodbye by unanswered riddles
With looks of despair she flinched
My face turns cold
For a damn reason!
