Miss USA, Sarah Rose Summers apologised to Miss Vietnam and Miss Cambodia after the American beauty queen mocked the contestants for their inability to speak English.
An Instagram post by a beauty queen where she was questioning the fellow contestants has caused a stir across social media.
Miss USA, immediately apologized when she realized that her comments seemed offensive to some. Ms Summers had said about Miss Cambodia that she doesn't speak any English and not a single other person speaks her language.
In her apology, she stated; In a moment where I intend to admire the courage of a few of my sisters, I said something that I now realize can be perceived as not respectful and I apologize.
The apology seems to have been accepted as summers shared a photo of she and the contestants embracing.
Sinat and Nie also shared it on their respective Instagram accounts.
