Sandra Annette Bullock

American actress,  character actor, screen-writer, film director,  film producer and philanthropist.
She was born of the 26th of July 1964, Sandra Bullock has two children-one she adopted from birth and the other at almost three years of age. She made her acting debut with a minor role in thriller Hangmen.

 Her acting breakthrough came in the action thriller 'Speed' (1994) where she starred as Annie Porter,  one of the passengers of a city bus containing a bomb alongside Keanu Reeves.

Sandra Bullock founded Fortis films production company. Gesine Bullock-Prado,Bullock's younger sister served as President of the company.

Philanthropy
Sandra Bullock has been known to involve herself in a lot of humanitarian work. She has been a public supporter of the American Red Cross and has donated US$ 1 million to the organization at least five times. In 2010, she donated US$ 1 million to relief efforts in Haiti after the Haiti earthquake. She was honoured in 2013 with the favourite Humanitarian award at the 39th People's Choice Awards for her contributions to New Orleans' Warren Easton High school which was severely damaged by Hurricane Katrina.

Bird box has become Netflix's biggest hit to date and it's sparking an internet craze encouraging people to walk around in blindfolds doing the Bird Box Challenge.

Following the smashing success of her movie bird box, Sandra Bullock is set to make another movie with Netflix. The Academy Award winner will be producing an adaptation of the comic book 'Rebor' for the streaming service. While she's not attached to star in the film,  there have been reports that there's still a chance that Sandra will lead the cast.
